Coordinator's Welcome
Welcome to the Daniel Project!
The Daniel Project is a collective, collaborate resource to teach Christians how to apply the Christian faith into every area of life and society including business, the arts, academia, science, philosophy and other crucial disciplines in order to bring positive transformative change. This understanding of Christianity’s perspective on the totality of the world is known as the Biblical Worldview. The Daniel Project equips Christians to effectively advance God’s Kingdom in all areas of society through practical training known as cultural engagement. Our aim is not to be apologists. Our desire is not relevance. Our purpose is to engage the culture and the church in a manner not yet seen or experienced and create a positive paradigm shift in culture with unprecedented societal, technological, ecological and relational results. This web site is our first stage in these efforts.
The leaders of The Daniel Project recognize that little training exists to practically equip Christians to advance God’s Kingdom outside of the context of full-time ministry. Most Christians do not even recognize God desires to use them as instruments of transformation, not merely in their work environments, but throughout society at large. Nor do they know how to utilize their practical and vocational skills to advance the Kingdom of God – merely the purposes of the institutional church. In summary, the majority of Christians in the church feel like second-class citizens with Christian/Secular dualistic mindsets and no real Kingdom goal or purpose outside of their church walls.
This web site will meet these critical goals by acting as a clearinghouse of information. This site contains:
- Articles from a diverse group of thinkers and leaders applying the Biblical Worldview into different areas and arenas of society, as well as links/comments to mainstream articles that unknowingly uncover key insights into spiritual strategies or Biblical truths.
- Week by Week information on the latest Daniel Project reading group assignments, including book lists, session notes, and questions.
- An interactive project center to coordinate authors, editors, researchers etc to collaborate on writing assignments, literary works, academic lectures, etc.
- A Disciplines section which provides detailed information on various disciplines* Practical guidelines on how to influence the working world and the culture by applying the Biblical Worldview into society.
- Deeper, richer insights into the power and pervasiveness of the Biblical text, including enlightening studies on Scriptural Hermeneutics, Etymology, Providential Story Telling and scientific correlation.
- Testimonies of Christians influencing their work environments or society at large
- Articles from Daniel Project members and contributors, and springboard discussion groups.
- Book reviews of key works from the world’s top secular and Christian writers
- Information about efforts and communities within The Daniel Project related to different topics

The purpose of this site is not merely information, but action. As often as possible, the Daniel Project will include practical steps and strategies in our articles. We hope the Christian community and society at large will find this information useful, liberating, and transforming.
